🏠 From Romanian Orphanage
Born in Romania in 1989, just nine months before the Communist dictatorship ended, Lucian spent his first four years in one of the infamous Romanian orphanages. Confined to rooms with children with disabilities, he experienced daily abuse and neglect.
✝️ A Christmas Eve Encounter
On Christmas Eve after leaving the orphanage at 18, Lucian attended a free Christmas carol concert at a Baptist church in Bucharest. That night, God sang a new song over him that flooded into his heart—the beginning of a life transformation.
🌍 HeartBeats Is Born
The seed planted at that Christmas Eve service has grown into HeartBeats Christian music festival—the largest of its kind in Eastern Europe. By God's miracle, HeartBeats has expanded to Korea, Kenya, and Brazil, with over 500,000 attending in-person and millions joining via livestream.
